What is Dainty Foodie?
Dainty Foodie is a handcrafted miniature art brand created by artist Lauryn Terry. Inspired by soul food, Southern comfort food, family traditions, and the memories that bring people together around the table, each piece is thoughtfully sculpted by hand using polymer clay.
From collectible sculptures to miniature inspired accessories, every creation is designed to celebrate culture, storytelling, and the joy of sharing a meal.
Are your pieces handmade?
Yes! Every Dainty Foodie piece is individually sculpted, painted, and finished by hand. Because each artwork is handcrafted, slight variations in color, texture, and detail are a natural part of the process and make every piece uniquely yours.
What scale are your pieces?
Most original Dainty Foodie sculptures are created in 1:12 dollhouse scale, unless otherwise stated in the product description.
Some collectible products such as magnets, earrings, charms, and future accessories may be created at a larger scale to best suit their intended purpose while maintaining the signature handcrafted detail Dainty Foodie is known for.
Ordering
What is included with my purchase?
Every Dainty Foodie order is carefully packaged with care instructions.
Original sculptures also include a Certificate of Authenticity featuring:
• Artwork title, Collector name, Registration number, Year created, and Artist signature
Why does my artwork have a registration number?
Each original Dainty Foodie sculpture is assigned a unique registration number and recorded in the Dainty Food Archive. This number appears on your Certificate of Authenticity and serves as a permanent record of your collectible artwork.
Do you offer preorders?
Yes! Select products are available through preorder.
Preorders allow me to handcraft each piece after your order is placed. Production timelines vary by product, so please review the estimated turnaround time listed on each product page before purchasing.
When will my order ship?
Ready-to-ship items
Typically ship within 7–14 business days.
Preorder items
Ship according to the production timeline listed in the product description.
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.
Will sold-out pieces be restocked?
Select collectible products (including magnets and accessories) may return in future shop updates.
Do you accept custom orders?
At this time, I am not accepting custom commissions as I focus on original artwork and upcoming product releases.
Artwork & Care
Are Dainty Foodie pieces toys?
No. Dainty Foodie creations are handcrafted collectible artworks intended for display and are not recommended for young children.
How should I care for my artwork?
To help preserve your piece:
• Display indoors.
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Keep away from excessive moisture and extreme temperatures.
• Handle with care.
Shipping & Policies
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, Dainty Foodie ships within the United States only.
What is your return policy?
Due to the handmade nature of every piece, all sales are final.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 4 days of delivery with photographs of both the item and its packaging so I can help resolve the issue.
My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
Please email daintyfoodie@gmail.com within 4 days of delivery and include:
• Your order number
• Photos of the damaged item
• Photos of the shipping box and packaging
